Romain Gazave is an international Coach and choreographer, former competitive figure skater and French pianist, born 11 December 1976 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice/ Les Arcs (French Alps). Figure skating competitive career Member of the French national team and notable alumni from INSEP, Romain was listed SHN (High level sportsman) of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in 1994 and 1995. He became silver medallist at the France national junior championships in 1994 and has participated in numerous international competitions, winning the bronze medal at the ISU Junior Grand Prix in Slovakia in 1994. Philippe Pélissier (born 30 November 1947) is a French figure skating coach and former competitor. Competing in men's singles, he won six medals at the French Figure Skating Championships. Sarah van Berkel (née Meier) (born 4 May 1984) is a Swiss former figure skater. She is the 2011 European champion, a two-time European silver medalist (2007 & 2008), the 2006 Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, and an eight-time Swiss national champion (2000–2001, 2003, 2005–2008, 2010). Shizuka Arakawa
is a retired Japanese figure skater. She is the 2006 Olympic champion and the 2004 World champion. Arakawa is the first Japanese skater to win an Olympic gold medal in figure skating and the second Japanese skater to win any Olympic medal in figure skating, after Midori Ito, who won silver in 1992. Kurt Browning, (born June 18, 1966) is a Canadian figure skater, choreographer and commentator. He is the first skater to land a ratified quadruple jump in competition. He is a four-time World Champion and Canadian national champion. Career Browning was both Canadian figure skating champion and World Champion four times. He represented Canada in three Winter Olympics, 1988 (finishing 8th overall), 1992 (6th) and 1994 (5th), and earned the privilege of carrying the Canadian flag during the opening ceremonies of the 1994 games in Lillehammer, Norway. Roman Sergeyevich Kostomarov (russian: Роман Серге́евич Костомаров, born 8 February 1977) is a Russian ice dancer. With partner Tatiana Navka, he is the 2006 Olympic champion, two-time World champion (2004–05), three-time Grand Prix Final champion (2003–05), and three-time European champion (2004–06). With partner Tatiana Totmianina, he is the 2006 Olympic champion, two-time World champion, and five-time European champion. Brian Ernest Orser, (born 18 December 1961) is a Canadian former competitive and professional figure skater and coach to Olympic champions. He is the 1984 and 1988 Olympic silver medallist, 1987 World champion and eight-time (1981–88) Canadian national champion. At the 1988 Winter Olympics, the rivalry between Orser and American figure skater Brian Boitano, who were the two favorites to win the gold medal, captured media attention and was described as the "Battle of the Brians".
