Rolv Enge
Rolv Øistein Enge (29 June 1921 – 5 April 2014) was a Norwegian resistance member and architect. World War II During the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany, he became involved in Milorg. He formed a group called ''Barlindgjengen'' (the "Yew Gang"), originally consisting of men from Jar in Bærum. In May 1944 the gang was summoned for sabotage training under the leadership of Per Røed; the camp was in Bærumsmarka. The gang became incorporated into District 13's sabotage squad Aks 13000, where Enge came to serve as one of several team leaders. In the first sabotage mission where Enge participated, however, Per Røed was the team leader. The mission took place on 31 August 1944, and consisted of blowing up 3,000 litres of gasoline stored at Bygdøy's primary school. Rolv Werner Erichsen
Rolv Werner Erichsen (2 December 1899 – 22 August 1988) was a Norwegian newspaper editor. He was born in Holt outside Tvedestrand in Aust-Agder. Career He was born as the eldest son of district physician Stian Erichsen (1867–1953) and his wife Magdalene Susanne Werner (1870–1967). His brother was the future politician and director Egil Werner Erichsen (1901–2000). After a failed examen artium in 1919 he decided to make a journalistic career, and was employed as a night assistant by the ''Morgenbladet'' newspaper. In the 1920s, Erichsen worked as a journalist in the Parliament of Norway, notably covering the impeachment case against former Prime Minister Abraham Berge in 1926 and 1927. In addition to this, he edited the '' Akersposten'' newspaper from 1925 to 1931. A noted conservative, he established an office for the administration of the Conservative Party's newspapers in Oslo. Rolv Høiland (26 September 1926 – 2001) was a Norwegian magazine editor. He was born in Stavanger, and started his career as a journalist there. He later enrolled at the University of Oslo. He was a sub-editor for the military newspapers ''Mannskapsavisa'' and ''Militær Orientering'', and was promoted to editor-in-chief in 1953. He later took up other tasks, and was editor-in-chief of ''Forsvarets Forum'' from 1980 to 1983. The magazine was started in 1980 as a continuation of ''Mannskapsavisa''. He was a board member of the Norwegian Press Association from 1975 to 1988 and of ''Periodisk Presses Redaktørforening''. Høiland also helped start the men's magazine ''Vi Menn'' in 1951. Rolv Einar Rasmussen Ryssdal (27 October 1914 – 18 February 1998) was a Norwegian judge. From 1969 to 1984 he was the 16th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He was Vice President of the European Court of Human Rights from 1981 to 1985 and President from 1985 to 1998. He was married to Signe Marie Stray Ryssdal, and father of noted lawyer Anders Christian Stray Ryssdal. Rolv Ryssdal was appointed Commander with Star of the Order of St. Olav in 1970. Rolv Berger Yttrehus (born Duluth, Minnesota, March 12, 1926 – February 4, 2018) was an American composer of contemporary classical music. He held degrees from the University of Minnesota and University of Michigan and a Diploma from the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. He studied harmony with Nadia Boulanger and composition with Ross Lee Finney, Roger Sessions, Aaron Copland, and Goffredo Petrassi. He taught at the University of Missouri, Purdue University, University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, and Rutgers University. He regarded Arnold Schoenberg and Sessions as his principal influences. Rolv Helge Wesenlund (17 September 1936 – 18 August 2013) was a Norwegian comedian, singer, clarinetist, writer and actor. Biography Wesenlund was most known for having portrayed the title character in the movies ''Bør Børson'', ''Bør Børson II'', and the TV series ''Fleksnes Fataliteter'', a popular Scandinavian sitcom, with a huge number of fans in Sweden, Denmark as well as Norway. The show was mainly an adaption of the British series ''Hancock's Half Hour''. Wesenlund had his stage debut in 1964; his movie debut in 1966; and his TV debut in 1968, with the TV series ''Og takk for det''.
