Simon Rolfes (born 21 January 1982) is a German former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Club career Early career Rolfes started his career at Werder Bremen after progressing through their academy. During the 2000–01 season, he scored five goals in 26 league appearances for the reserve team. He scored against Dresdner SC, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Lüneburger SK, Erzgebirge Aue, and Fortuna Köln. He also made an appearances in the DFB-Pokal. He would score seven goals in 31 league appearances and a goal in two DFB-Pokal during the 2001–02 season and two goals in 17 league appearances and an appearance during the DFB-Pokal during the 2002–03 season. Christine Margaret Rolfes (née Nasser, born March 25, 1967). is an American politician of the Democratic Party who served as the Washington State Senator for the 23rd District between 2011 and 2023. The 23rd District includes Bainbridge Island, Silverdale, Poulsbo, Kingston, and parts of Bremerton. She focuses her work on funding and educational reform, small businesses, ferries, military and veteran families, opposition to housing, and the environment. Hans Joachim Rolfes was a German World War I flying ace credited with 17 confirmed and two unconfirmed aerial victories. He scored his first confirmed victory while with Royal Bavarian ''Jagdstaffel 32'', on 6 July 1917. Herman Rolfes
Herman Harold Rolfes (born July 13, 1936) was a Saskatchewan educator and politician who has held provincial office, as a former member of the Saskatchewan provincial legislature. He has won a number of significant recognized awards and honours over his lifetime career. Life before politics The son of Joseph Rolfes and Josephine Heckmann, he was educated at St. Peter's College, at the Saskatoon Teacher's College and at the University of Saskatchewan. He served as principal for a number of elementary schools and as director of guidance for Holy Cross High School in Saskatoon. In 1961, Rolfes married Myrna Josephine Hopfner. Rolfes Robert Reginald Dhlomo (1906–1971) was a South African journalist, novelist and historian born in Siyamu, Edendale in the province of KwaZulu. His novella ''An African Tragedy'', published in 1928, was the first fiction work written by a black South African to appear in book form. Together with his brother Herbert, he worked as a journalist and editor for the journals ''Bantu World'' and ''Ilanga laseNatali''. He wrote his later novels in isiZulu.
