Rolf Köhler
Rolf Köhler (24 May 1951 – 16 September 2007) was a German singer, musician, and record producer. Career Köhler initially achieved commercial success performing under the pseudonym Marc de Ville in the late 1970s. As Marc de Ville, he recorded a few singles, including "Annie (I Don't Wanna Talk About the Weather)", "Walking Alone in the Rain" and "California". Köhler performed with a diverse range of musicians, including Marius Müller-Westernhagen and heavy metal band Saxon. He also wrote a number of German songs, including "Wenns um Geld geht", "Tortella" and "BIFI". Köhler was part of the Modern Talking choir that used a falsetto style. Köhler co-owned Karo Music Studios and produced music together with other producers including Kalle Trapp, Blind Guardian, Molly Hatchet, New Commix, Kentucky, Toll House, Ser, Ian Cussick band, BLUE BLIZZ, Wave (with Wiedeke), and Gnadenlos Platt. Molly Hatchet
Molly Hatchet is an American rock band formed in 1971 by guitarist Dave Hlubek in Jacksonville, Florida. They were a popular band during the late 1970s and early-to-mid 1980s among the southern rock and hard rock communities. The band released six studio albums on Epic Records between 1978 and 1984, including the platinum-selling hit records ''Molly Hatchet'' (1978), ''Flirtin' with Disaster'' (1979) and '' Beatin' the Odds'' (1980). They also had successful hits on the ''Billboard'' charts, including "Flirtin' with Disaster", "The Rambler", "Bloody Reunion" and "Satisfied Man". Molly Hatchet has released eight more studio albums since their split with Epic in 1985, although none of them have been as successful as their early albums, nor charted in the United States. Systems in Blue is a German pop band originally composed of Rolf Köhler, Michael Scholz, and Detlef Wiedeke. After Köhler's death, singer Olaf Senkbeil was invited to join them. Michael Scholz (26 January 1949) is a German singer, composer, and producer. He was part of the choir of Rolf Köhler. Between 1984 and 2000, he collaborated with Dieter Bohlen for which he sang in the Modern Talking and Blue System choruses. Since 2003, he works on his music group, Systems in Blue. Luis Rodríguez (producer)
Luis Rodríguez Salazar (born 1948) is a Spanish music producer, arranger, mixer and engineer, known by his role in the co-production of German pop duo Modern Talking. He was also involved up to the 1990s in most of Dieter Bohlen's productions, including C. C. Catch and Blue System, working as co-producer. Biography Rodriguez was born in Fuente el Fresno, Ciudad Real, Spain in 1948. He started at age 12 playing the guitar and playing in the streets. He started as bassist and guitarist in the band Los Esclavos, performing at a flamenco club in Hamburg. When he started to sing he experimented with 2 microphones, one dry without effect s and one with delay and echo. He would do 2-track recordings from the age of 17. He got a gig as DJ and was able to by an 8-track and make more demos. He went to school to become a music technician. Dieter Bohlen (; born Dieter Günter Bohlen, 7 February 1954) is a German songwriter, producer, singer and television personality.
