Roldán Rodríguez
Roldán Rodríguez Iglesias (born 9 November 1984 in Valladolid) is a Spanish racing driver, who competed in the GP2 Series from 2007 to 2009. Prior to this he competed in Spanish Formula Three and various Formula 3000 categories. Career Formula Three After competing in Formula Junior 1600 Spain in 2002, Rodríguez graduated to the Spanish Formula Three Championship in 2003 in remained there for the next four seasons, gradually improving to finish as series runner-up in 2006, behind Ricardo Risatti. Nissan World Series In 2004, Rodríguez dovetailed part-time campaigns in F3 and the Nissan World Series, in which he scored two points from nine races. Valladolid () is a Municipalities of Spain, municipality in Spain and the primary seat of government and de facto capital of the Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community of Castile and León. The 2006 Spanish Formula Three Championship was the sixth Spanish Formula Three season. It began on 8 April at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia and ended on 12 November at Circuito del Jarama in Montmeló after sixteen races. Ricardo Risatti was crowned series champion. 2008 GP2 Series Season
The 2008 GP2 Series season was the forty-second season of the second-tier of Formula One feeder championship and also fourth season under the GP2 Series moniker. It began on 26 April at Montmeló, Spain and it finished on 14 September at Monza, Italy. This is the first season using a new car design to be used during the following 3 seasons. The series was won by Giorgio Pantano. Season summary The fourth GP2 Series season started in Circuit de Catalunya. Pastor Maldonado took first pole position of the season, but he couldn't use the advantage after a very bad start. Alvaro Parente won in his debut race in the series. In the sprint race, Romain Grosjean was heading for victory until late-race safety car. When the safety car went back to the pits, Grosjean straight-lined chicane and lost momentum. Michael Herck
Michael Herck (born 4 August 1988 in Bucharest, Romania) is a Romanian-Belgian retired racing driver. Career Early life Herck was adopted at the age of one and a half years by millionaire André Herck, a Belgian citizen born in Bucharest. Herck grew up in Monaco, and began his racing career in karting in France. Formula Renault After karting, Herck moved to the Formula Renault Monza Winter Series in 2003 and competed in the full series the next year. He won the 2004 championship with five wins and 375 points. He also competed in the Belgian and Spanish 1.6-litre series in 2004, winning the latter championship. Alexandre Sarnes Negrão
Alexandre Sarnes Negrão (born October 14, 1985), better known as Xande Negrão and nicknamed ''Xandinho'', is a Brazilian entrepreneur and race car driver. He raced in the first three seasons of the GP2 Series, all with the Piquet Sports team, having won the Formula Three Sudamericana championship in 2004. Career Negrão's career started in karting in 1998, where he continued to race until he joined the Piquet team in Formula Three Sudamericana for the 2003 season. The team had been put together primarily to help Nelson Piquet Jr.'s run through the lower series, his goal to make Formula One, but nevertheless Negrão would stay with team in 2004. Giancarlo Minardi
Giancarlo Minardi (born 18 September 1947) is the founder and managing director of the now-defunct Minardi Formula One team. Early life Minardi was born in Faenza (Ravenna), Italy and has spent his life with cars. As a young boy, his family managed a Fiat dealership and an Agip fuel station, and currently manages Iveco and Selenia dealerships. His father, Giovanni Minardi, who died when Giancarlo was young, was also heavily involved in motor racing. Euroseries 3000
Auto GP, sometimes referred to as the Auto GP World Series and formerly known as both Euro Formula 3000 and the Euroseries 3000, was a European formula racing series. The series' roots can be traced back to 1999 and the Italian Formula 3000 series, organised by Pierluigi Corbari, which used old Lola chassis with Zytek engines. The teams used the Lola T96/50 in the first two years. At the beginning nearly all races were held in Italy, but very quickly the series expanded and had venues in different European countries. The series became European Formula 3000 in 2001. The next three years (2001–2003) saw the Lola B99/50 in use. For 2004, Superfund became the series' title sponsor, planning to use a new car with a new set of regulations, named Formula Superfund, but the funding was pulled before the 2005 season got under way and the series was cancelled. Minardi
Minardi was an Italian automobile racing team and constructor founded in Faenza in 1979 by Giancarlo Minardi. It competed in the Formula One World Championship from 1985 until 2005 with little success, nevertheless acquiring a loyal following of fans. In 2001, to save the team from folding, Minardi sold it to Australian businessman Paul Stoddart, who ran the team for five years before selling it on to Red Bull GmbH in 2005 who renamed it Scuderia Toro Rosso. From 2001, all of Minardi chassis were called "PS" then a number, the PS being the initials of team owner, Paul Stoddart. During its time in F1, the team scored a total of 38 championship points; 16 of these were earned by the team's first driver, Pierluigi Martini. Ricardo Risatti
Ricardo ''Caíto'' Risatti (born September 27, 1986, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine racing driver who has progressed through the ranks of formula single-seater racing in South America and Europe. He was the 2006 Spanish Formula Three champion and now competes in the Argentine touring car series, TC 2000. Career history Risatti began his junior racing career in karting in 1998. After a relatively short period of three seasons, he progressed into formula racing in the B-class of Formula Three Sudamericana, which is based in Brazil. He entered only three races in 2001, but was one of twelve Argentinians who competed at some point in that year's championship.
