Like all species within the genus ''Conus'', these snails are predatory and venomous. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled carefully or not at all. Description The shell size varies between 15 mm and 40 mm. The striate Spire (mollusc), spire is slightly tuberculate. The body whorl is granular, striate towards the base.
