Roland Gerebenits (born 7 May 2000) is a Slovak professional footballer who currently plays for Považská Bystrica. Club career MŠK Žilina Gerebenits made his Fortuna Liga debut for Žilina against Senica on 12 August 2017. Žilina had destroyed Senica 7–1. Gerebenits replaced Miroslav Káčer, who scored one of 6 goals of Žilina to the point. Later on in the pitch Gerebenits witnessed the seventh goal by Michal Škvarka. Loan at Pohronie On 8 February 2020, Žilina had announced that Gerebenits and captain of the reserve squad, Peter Chríbik, will join Pohronie on half-season loan. In Gerebenits' case, it was noted as a step to help him penetrate Žilina's main squad. Consequently, unlike Chríbik, his contract did not include an option-to-buy clause. Žilina
Žilina (; hu, Zsolna, ; german: Sillein, or ; pl, Żylina , names in other languages) is a city in north-western Slovakia, around from the capital Bratislava, close to both the Czech and Polish borders. Miroslav Káčer (born 2 February 1996) is a Slovak professional footballer who currently plays for DAC Dunajská Streda in the Niké Liga. Club career MŠK Žilina Káčer began his football career at his hometown club MŠK Žilina. Aged 16, Miroslav made his debut for Žilina against Spartak Myjava on 13 July 2012. On his competition debut, he scored his first professional goal in a 4–1 win. Káčer was released from Žilina, as the club had entered liquidation, due to a coronavirus pandemic. The 2020–21 Slovak First Football League (known as the Slovak Fortuna liga for sponsorship reasons) was the 28th season of first-tier football league in Slovakia since its establishment in 1993. Slovan Bratislava were the defending champions for the second successive year, after picking up the domestic double in the previous season. COVID-19 Pandemic In Slovakia
The COVID-19 pandemic in Slovakia has resulted in confirmed cases of COVID-19 and deaths. The virus was confirmed to have spread to Slovakia on 6 March 2020 when Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini announced that a 52-year-old man was infected. He had not travelled anywhere but his son had travelled to Venice in Italy, and was later confirmed as the first Slovak to be infected. Three cases were then confirmed, including the man's son and wife. During the next few days, COVID-19 cases went up to 21 out of 832 tested. The penalty area or 18-yard box (also known less formally as the penalty box or simply box) is an area of an association football pitch. It is rectangular and extends 16.5m (18 yd) to each side of the goal and 16.5m (18 yd) in front of it.
