Clare E. Rojas (born 1976), also known by stage name Peggy Honeywell, is an American multidisciplinary artist. She is part of the Mission School. Rojas is "known for creating powerful folk-art-inspired tableaus that tackle traditional gender roles." She works in a variety of media, including painting, installations, video, street art, and children's books. Rojas is lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. Early life and education Clare Rojas was born in 1976 in Columbus, Ohio. She is of half-Peruvian descent. As a teenager, Rojas visited a nursing home, where she would make portraits in pastel and oil, while she listened to the interesting stories of her subjects. Clara Leticia Rojas González (born December 20, 1964) is a Colombian lawyer, university lecturer, and campaign manager for former senator and presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt. She was kidnapped along with Betancourt by the FARC guerrilla group near San Vicente del Caguán on February 23, 2002, while Betancourt was campaigning for the presidency. After the kidnapping, Rojas was named as Betancourt's vice-presidential candidate. In 2006, it was revealed that Rojas had given birth to a boy named Emmanuel while in captivity. The father is a FARC guerrilla. Rojas had last been seen publicly in a video released by the guerrilla group in 2003. Alberto Rojas (born January 5, 1965) is a Mexican prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who has been serving as bishop of the Diocese of San Bernardino in Southern California since 2020. He previously served as an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Chicago in Illinois from 2011 to 2019. Ángel Clemente Rojas (born 28 August 1944 in Sarandí), nicknamed ''Rojitas'', is a former Argentine footballer who played most of his career for Boca Juniors. Rojas started his professional career in 1963 with Boca Juniors at the age of 18, he was hit by a major injury early in his career, a collision with an opposition player caused an Anterior cruciate ligament injury in 1963 kept him on the sidelines until August 1964. He returned to help Boca to claim the 1964 league championship. Ángel Dolores Rojas (August 2, 1851 – December 16, 1918) was an Argentine lawyer and politician. Life and times Rojas was born and raised in San Juan Province. The son of a prominent local family, he earned a law degree at the University of Buenos Aires in 1875. He returned to San Juan, serving as attorney for the Argentine Great Western Railway, the Transandine Railway, and the National Mortgage Bank. He also served as a defense attorney in the provincial juvenile courts and in the 1878 convention that approved a series of amendments to the San Juan Constitution. He was elected to the Argentine Chamber of Deputies in 1879, and was appointed Economy Minister for San Juan Province by interim Governor Juan Luis Sarmiento during his 1881-84 term.
