Roi Et Club Football ( th, สโมสรฟุตบอลร้อยเอ็ด คลับฟุตบอล) is a Thai professional football club based in Roi Et Province in north-eastern Thailand. They are currently members of the Thailand Amateur League North Eastern Region and play at the Pankkee Arena. History The club was established in 2008 and joined Regional League Division 2 North Eastern Region. They finished bottom of the division in 2009, but were champions of the division two seasons later, advancing to the promotion play-offs, in which they finished fourth in a six-club group. They won their division again in 2012, but again only finished fourth in the promotion play-off group stage. After winning their regional division for a third successive season in 2013, the club won their group in the promotion play-offs, before going on to win the knock-out stages, defeating Chiangmai 2–0 on aggregate over two legs and earning promotion to Division One. The Thai League Cup is a knock-out football tournament played in Thai sport. Some games are played as a single match, others are played as two-legged contests. The 2016 Thai League Cup kicked off on 6 February 2016 . The Thai League Cup has been readmitted back into Thai football after a 10-year absence. The Thai League Cup is sponsored by Toyota thus naming it Toyota League Cup. The prize money for this prestigious award is said to be around 5 million baht and the runners-up will be netting 1 million baht. 2009 Regional League Division 2 North Eastern Region ( th, ลีกภูมิภาค ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ or ไทยลีกดิวิชัน 2 ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ) is the 3rd Level League in Thailand. In 2009, contains 12 clubs from North Eastern region. The league winners qualify for the end of season Regional Championships with the other four league winners in the Regional setup. Ubon United FC withdrew from the league after playing 16 games, due to a dispute with the Thailand Football Association (FAT). All results were declared null and void. Ubon were also given a 2-year ban from competing. The league table was re-adjusted accordingly, after FAT previously thought about awarding 2-0 victories for the remaining games.
