Roggwil-Berg railway station (german: Bahnhof Roggwil-Berg) is a railway station in Roggwil, in the Swiss canton of Thurgau. The station sits just over the border from the Canton of St. Gallen, and its name comes from the Thurgau municipality of Roggwil and the nearby St. Gallen municipality of Berg. Bodensee–Toggenburg Railway
The Bodensee–Toggenburg railway is a mainly single-track standard-gauge line connecting on Lake Constance (''Bodensee'' in German) and the Toggenburg region in Eastern Switzerland. It was built by the Bodensee-Toggenburg-Bahn (BT), a former railway company, which existed from 1910 until its merger with the "old" Südostbahn (SOB) to form the "new" Südostbahn (SOB) on 1 January 2001. Roggwil is a municipality in the district of Arbon in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland. History Roggwil is first mentioned in 854 as ''Megenberti de Rocconwilare'' when it became part of the holdings of the Bishop of Constance.
