Roger Montoya
Roger Evan Montoya (born February 3, 1961) is an American humanitarian, painter, former professional dancer and gymnast, and politician serving as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives from the 40th district. Elected in 2020, he assumed office on January 19, 2021. He is the co-founder of several organizations, including Moving Arts Española, La Tierra Montessori School for the Arts and Sciences, and Española Pathways Shelter. He was nominated for the CNN Heroes, 2019 CNN Hero of the Year. Early life and education Roger Evan Montoya was born to Jose Amado and Dorotea Montoya in Denver, Colorado, on February 3, 1961. Parsons Dance is a contemporary dance company founded by choreographer David Parsons. The company tours nationally and internationally, and includes an annual season in New York. Louis Falco (August 2, 1942 – March 26, 1993) was an American dancer and choreographer. Life and career Louis Falco was born in New York City of southern Italian immigrant parents. He began his study of dance in the 1950s at The Henry Street Playhouse with Murray Louis and Alwin Nikolais. He attended the High School of Performing Arts and as a student began performing with Charles Weidman. Concussion
A concussion, also known as a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), is a head injury that temporarily affects brain functioning. Symptoms may include loss of consciousness (LOC); memory loss; headaches; difficulty with thinking, concentration, or balance; nausea; blurred vision; sleep disturbances; and mood changes. Any of these symptoms may begin immediately, or appear days after the injury.
