Roger FitzJohn (died 1248/1249) was an English feudal baron, Lord of Clavering, Warkworth and Horsford. He was the son of John FitzRobert and Ada de Baillol. Robert FitzRoger (died 1310)
Robert fitzRoger (1247–1310), Lord of Warkworth, Clavering and Eure, was an English baron. He was a son of Roger FitzJohn and Isabel de Dunbar. FitzRoger fought in the wars in Wales, Gascony and Scotland. Life FitzRoger was the son of Roger fitzJohn, who held Warkworth Castle and was lord of Warkworth, Clavering and Eure.Burke, p.238. Roger died in 1249, leaving his son in infancy. FitzRoger was placed into the guardianship of William de Valence, although FitzRoger's grandmother Ada de Baillol, offered to buy the wardship of her grandson. In the right of his mother, FitzRoger obtained the barony of Blythburgh, Suffolk. A distinguished soldier, FitzRoger fought in wars in Wales in 1277, 1282 and 1283, the wars against Scotland in 1291 until 1309 and in Gascony in 1294. He was summoned to the English Parliament of 1295 as Lord FitzRoger. During the battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297, fitzRoger was captured. Robert FitzJohn de Stokkes, poss. Sheriff of London John FitzRobert (ca. 1190–1240) (de Clavering)Richardson, Douglas, ''Magna Carta Ancestry'', 2nd edn., Baltimore, 2011: 1:487 is listed as one of the Surety Barons for Magna Carta (1215), although it seems not previously noted as a rebel. He was the son of Robert fitzRoger and Margaret Chesney. Life History relates that with the renewal of hostilities in the autumn of 1215, he joined the barons in waging war against King John of England. Notwithstanding that, he is listed as sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk for the year 1215–16. After the baronial defeat at Lincoln in May, he submitted to King Henry III of England's minority government. He served as sheriff of Northumberland from 1224 to 1227. Patrick II, Earl Of Dunbar
Patrick II (1185–1249), called "6th Earl of Dunbar", was a 13th-century Anglo- Scottish noble, and one of the leading figures during the reign of King Alexander II of Scotland. Said to be aged forty-six at the time of his father's death, this Patrick was the eldest son of Patrick I, Earl of Dunbar and Ada, daughter of King William I of Scotland. He probably succeeded to his father's lands some time before the latter's death on 31 December 1232, as his father was elderly and had been ill for some time. He renounced his claim to some disputed Marches in lower Lauderdale to the monks of Melrose, and in 1235 he, with Adam, Abbot of Melrose, and Gilbert, Bishop of Galloway, led an expedition against an uprising in Galloway. Andrew Moray (justiciar)
Sir Andrew Moray, Lord of Petty (died 8 April 1298) was Justiciar of Scotia. Life Andrew Moray was the younger son of Sir Walter de Moray, and a daughter of Sir Walter Olifard of Bothwell who was the son of Sir David Olifard of Bothwell. He and his son were amongst the Scottish noblemen captured following the Battle of Dunbar in 1296. Moray was imprisoned in the Tower of London, where he died on 8 April 1298.
