Joeri Rogelj
Joeri Rogelj (born 1980) is a Belgian climate scientist working on solutions to climate change. He explores how societies can transform towards sustainable futures. He is a Reader in Climate Science and Policy (Associate Professor) at the Centre for Environmental Policy (CEP) and Director of Research at the Grantham Institute – Climate Change and Environment, both at Imperial College London. He is also affiliated with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis. He is an author of several climate reports by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and a member of the European Scientific Advisory Board for Climate Change. Education Rogelj completed an engineering degree at the KU Leuven (Belgium) in 2003, and also obtained a postgraduate degree in Cultures and Development Studies at the same institution in 2005. Žan Rogelj (born 25 November 1999) is a Slovenian professional footballer who plays for the Belgian Pro League club Charleroi. Club career Rogelj started the 2018–19 season as a reserve player for the Slovenian top flight side Triglav Kranj but ended the season as a starter, making 22 league appearances. Špela Rogelj (born 8 November 1994) is a retired Slovenian ski jumper. Career Early years Rogelj began her ski jumping career at the age of thirteen, competing in Dobbiaco on 23 January 2008. This took place at Continental Cup level. She later competed in the 2009 Ski Jumping World Championships in Liberec, finishing 30th. Two years later she finished second in the Junior World Championships in Otepää on 27 January 2011, beaten only by Coline Mattel. Her best result in the Continental Cup is second place, achieved on 29 November 2011 in Rovaniemi.
