Roell Preston
Roell Preston (born June 23, 1972) is a former professional American football player. He was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round of the 1995 NFL Draft. A 5-foot 10-inch, 187-pound wide receiver from the University of Mississippi, Preston played in five NFL seasons from 1995 to 1999 for the Falcons, the Green Bay Packers, the Miami Dolphins, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Tennessee Titans. He was a 1998 Pro Bowl selection as a member of the Packers, mainly used as a kickoff and punt return specialist. He is currently living in the North Miami area. XFL (2001)
The XFL was a professional American football league that played its only season in 2001. The XFL was operated as a joint venture between the WWE, World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) and NBC. The XFL was conceived as an outdoor football league that would begin play immediately after the National Football League season ended, to take advantage of the perceived lingering public desire to watch football after the NFL and college football seasons conclude. The Ole Miss Rebels football program represents the University of Mississippi, also known as "Ole Miss". Northwest Mississippi Community College
Northwest Mississippi Community College is a public community college in Senatobia, Mississippi. It was founded in 1928. As of August 2008, Northwest's enrollment exceeds 7,100 students. There are approximately 3,000 students on the Senatobia campus—1,100 of which reside in the college's residence halls. A return specialist or kick returner is a player on the special teams unit of a gridiron football team who specializes in returning punts and kickoffs. The 1995 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 22–23, 1995 at the Paramount Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. The league also held a supplemental draft after the regular draft and before the regular season.
