Rodzina Zastępcza
''Rodzina zastępcza'' (eng. ''Foster Family'') was a popular Poland, Polish primetime comedy series broadcast on Polsat from 23 February 1999 to 20 December 2009. In 2004 the title was changed to ''Rodzina zastępcza plus'' (''Foster Family plus'') and the series got longer episodes, as well as more regular characters and locations. The series told the story of the Kwiatkowski family, Anka and Jacek, their biological children Majka and Filip, as well as three children they adopted one day: Eliza, Zosia, Romek, later also Dorotka, Wojtek, Piotrek and Pawełek. Gabriela Kownacka
Gabriela Anna Kownacka (née Kwasz) (25 May 1952, Wrocław – 30 November 2010, Warsaw) was a Polish film and stage actress, best known for playing in the Polish TV series ''Rodzina zastępcza''. Kownacka was a Lutheran. She has starred in over 60 television theater roles and starred in over 40 theater productions across the country. By the decision of the President of the Republic of Poland of August 22, 2005, she was awarded the Cross of Merit. Kownacka died on 30 November 2010, aged 58, after a long battle with breast cancer that began in 2004. On 7 December 2010, she was interred at the Evangelical Cemetery of the Augsburg Confession in Warsaw. Marcin Kołodyński (17 April 1980 – 1 February 2001) was a Polish actor and TV presenter. Education He graduated from the Miguel de Cervantes Liceum in Warsaw. He studied journalism at the University of Warsaw. Death He died tragically in the vicinity of Zakopane, while snowboarding.
