Rodríguez is a small town (''villa'') in the San José Department of southern Uruguay. Geography It is located on Route 45, about north of its intersection with Route 11, and about west-northwest of Santa Lucía of Canelones Department. The railroad track Montevideo - San José - Colonia passes through this town. History On 19 July 1909, it was declared a "Pueblo" (village) by the Act of Ley N° 3.548. On 14 June 1960, its status was elevated to "Villa" (town) by the Act of Ley N° 12.733. Population In 2011 Rodríguez had a population of 2,604. Santa Lucía () is a city in the Canelones Department of southern Uruguay. Santa Lucía is also the name of the municipality to which the city belongs. The Departamento de Canelones (; ) is one of the 19 Uruguayan departments. With an area of and 608,956 inhabitants at the 2023 Census, it is located in the south of Uruguay. Its capital is Canelones. Ciudad de la Costa is the largest city by total population and Las Piedras is the largest city with an official census. ''Nuestra'' is the debut studio album of the Venezuelan rock band La Vida Bohème, released in August 2010. Recorded and produced by Rudy Pagliuca, it is a free download on the website of the record label All of the Above. The album was nominated for "Best Latin Pop, Rock or Urban Album" in the 54th Grammy Awards. The two singles from this album are "Radio Capital" and "Danz!". Background and recording The album was recorded in Caracas in 2009, on fairly independent terms. Guitarist Daniel De Sousa happened to be studying engineering at the time, and took on designing a distortion pedal that was used on the album.
