Rodrigo Galo
Rodrigo Galo Brito (born 19 September 1986) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a right back for Portuguese club Casa Pia. Club career Early career In 2000, Rodrigo Galo joined the academy of club Juventus. He spent four years playing for the club's youth teams. In 2005, he moved to Avaí, and in 2006 signed a professional contract with them for a period of two years. He made 31 appearances for the club, all as a substitute. In the summer 2008, the Rodrigo Galo moved to Portuguese side Gil Vicente. He scored 12 goals in 86 matches for the Barcelos-based club. In the summer 2011, Galo signed for Braga, but was sent back to Gil Vicente on loan. Further loans at Académica de Coimbra and Greek Super League side Panetolikos followed. The 2009–10 Liga de Honra season (also known as Liga Vitalis due to sponsorship reasons) is the 20th season of the second-tier football in Portugal. It began on 13 August 2009 and will end on 9 May 2010. Olhanense are the defending champions. Teams Trofense were relegated to the Liga de Honra after finishing 16th and last in the Portuguese Liga 2008–09 season. Trofense were to be accompanied by Belenenses, who finished in 15th place. Belenenses were ending a ten-year stretch in the Portuguese top-level league, while Trofense returned to the Liga da Honra after just one year in the top flight. The Liga Portugal 2 (), also known as Liga Portugal 2 SABSEG for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division of the Portuguese football league system.
