Carlos Antonio Rodón (born December 10, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played MLB for the Chicago White Sox and San Francisco Giants. Rodón is a two-time MLB All-Star. Rodón played college baseball at North Carolina State, and was drafted by the White Sox in the first round, with the third overall pick, of the 2014 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut with the White Sox in 2015. On April 14, 2021, Rodón pitched the 20th no-hitter in White Sox history, against the Cleveland Indians. He entered free agency after the 2021 season, and signed with the Giants. Francisco Rodón (June 6, 1934 – March 18, 2023) was a Puerto Rican portrait and landscape painter. Born in San Sebastián, Puerto Rico, San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, Rodón studied in Mexico, France, and Spain. He was named Puerto Rico's most important 20th century painter at the Seville Expo '92, Expo 92 World's Fair in Seville, Spain, joining the 18th century's José Campeche and the 19th century's Francisco Oller. Known for his portraits of major cultural figures, such as Argentinian author Jorge Luis Borges, Puerto Rican governor Luis Muñoz Marín, Cuban dancer Alicia Alonso, and Perú's Nobel laureate Mario Vargas Llosa. Joseph Peter Rodon (born 22 October 1997) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for club Leeds United, on loan from club Tottenham Hotspur, and the Wales national team. A youth product of Swansea City, Rodon made 54 senior appearances for the club before moving to Tottenham Hotspur in October 2020. Miriam Rodón Naveira (born April 2, 1963) is an environmental scientist from San Juan, Puerto Rico, working at the federal government of the United States for which she was awarded a Silver Medal for Superior Service and a Suzanne Olive EEO and Diversity Award both by the EPA. She was also the first Hispanic woman to serve as branch chief of the EPA's National Exposure Research Laboratory (NERL) and later the first Hispanic woman to become deputy director of NERL's Environmental Sciences Division. The Cape of Rodon or Cape of Skanderbeg ( sq, Kepi i Rodonit or ''Kepi i Skenderbeut'') is a rocky cape on the Adriatic Sea north of Durrës, Albania.
