Rode Fjord
Rode Fjord ( da, Røde Fjord, meaning 'Red Fjord') is a fjord in King Christian X Land, eastern Greenland. The Rode Fjord is part of the Scoresby Sound complex''Prostar Sailing Directions 2005 Greenland and Iceland Enroute'', p. 115 in the area of Sermersooq municipality. Geography The to wide Rode Fjord is located in the inner Scoresby Sound. At its southern end the fjord is a northerly continuation of the Fonfjord. On the western shore, near the confluence, the Rolige Brae glacier flows into the fjord and a little further south the Vestfjord branches off to the west. There is a small island in the area named Rode Island ''(Røde Ø)''. At the northern end the Rode Fjord is a southern offshoot of the Ofjord. Hare Fjord
Hares and jackrabbits are mammals belonging to the genus ''Lepus''. They are herbivores, and live solitarily or in pairs. They nest in slight depressions called forms, and their young are able to fend for themselves shortly after birth. The genus includes the largest lagomorphs. Milne Land
Milne Land or Milneland is a large island in eastern Greenland. It is the third largest island of Greenland, after the main island of Greenland and Disko Island. It is named after British admiral David Milne. This island is popular among climbers. Geography The island is long from Moraene Point in the southwest to Bregne Point in the northeast, up to wide, and in area. It is part of an archipelago, which includes Storo and Sorte Island in the Northwest, Denmark Island in the south, and the Bjorne Islands in the northeast. Cape Leslie is Milneland's southeastern headland. Storo (Greenland)
Storo ( da, Storø, meaning 'Big island') is an uninhabited island in the Scoresby Sound fjord, Sermersooq Municipality, eastern Greenland. Geography Roughly triangular in shape, Storo lies to the SW of Renland and is separated by the Snesund from the NW shore of Milneland. The small Sorte Island lies off its southern point. The island lies between the Ofjord to the north and the Rode Fjord to the west; the mouths of the Hare Fjord and the Rype Fjord are off its northwestern end. The island has an area of 198.3 km2 and a shoreline of 63.3 kilometres. Storo has an ultra prominent mountain of in height. Rype Fjord
Rype Fjord ( kl, Aqissip Kangertiva; da, Rypefjord, meaning 'Grouse Fjord') is a fjord in King Christian X Land, eastern Greenland. This fjord is part of the Scoresby Sound system in the area of Sermersooq municipality. Geography The to wide and roughly long Rype Fjord is located in the inner Scoresby Sound. This fjord is an offshoot of the Ofjord ''(Øfjord)''. At the confluence the Rype Fjord branches to the northwest off the northern shore of the Ofjord, while the Hare Fjord runs in a westerly direction and the Rode Fjord branches towards the south. The Eielson Glacier is at the fjord's head flowing from the west. The glacier tongue is about 25 kilometers NW of the mouth of the fjord. The fjord is only 2.9 km wide at the mouth, becoming broader towards the north until reaching a width of over 5 km.
