Rocky The Squirrel
Rocket "Rocky" J. Squirrel, also known as Rocky the Flying Squirrel, is a fictional character and one of the two male protagonists of the 1959–1964 animated series ''Rocky and His Friends'' and ''The Bullwinkle Show'' (both shows often referred to collectively as '' The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show''), produced by Jay Ward. Rocky is the best friend and ally of the western moose, Bullwinkle. Both Rocky and Bullwinkle were given the middle initial "J" as a reference to Ward. Creation Jay Ward and partner Alex Anderson originally created Rocky as part of ''The Frostbite Falls Review'', a proposed pilot that wasn't developed. The character was later used as the star of the series ''Rocky and His Friends''. However, when the show changed networks from ABC to NBC, its name was changed to ''The Bullwinkle Show'', with Bullwinkle replacing Rocky as the lead role due to the moose having larger popularity than Rocky. ''The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends'' (commonly referred to as simply ''Rocky and Bullwinkle'') is an American animated television series that originally aired from November 19, 1959, to June 27, 1964, on the ABC and NBC television networks. The current blanket title was imposed for home video releases more than 40 years after the series originally aired and was never used when the show was televised; television airings of the show were broadcast under the titles of ''Rocky and His Friends'' from 1959 to 1961 (and again in Canada in 1963), ''The Bullwinkle Show'' from 1961 to 1964, and ''The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show'' (or ''The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle'') in syndication. Fearless Leader
Fearless Leader is the main antagonist in the 1959–1964 animated television series ''Rocky and His Friends'' and '' The Bullwinkle Show'', both shows often collectively referred to as ''The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show''. He is the employer of fellow primary villains Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale, serving as an overarching antagonist in some episodes of the series. He was originally voiced by Bill Scott. Character overview Fearless Leader is a dictator from the fictional country Pottsylvania, and the employer of the inept mobsters Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale. He could always be found in his underground hideout, "Central Control." However, it seems evident that he did answer to one man himself: the diminutive Mr. Big. Gary Larson
Gary Larson (born August 14, 1950) is an American cartoonist, environmentalist, and former musician. He is the creator of ''The Far Side'', a single-panel cartoon series that was syndicated internationally to more than 1,900 newspapers for fifteen years. The series ended with Larson's retirement on January 1, 1995. In September 2019, his website alluded to a "new online era of ''The Far Side''". On July 8, 2020, Larson released three new comics, his first in 25 years. His twenty-three books of collected cartoons have combined sales of more than forty-five million copies.
