Rocky The Flying Squirrel
Rocket "Rocky" J. Squirrel, also known as Rocky the Flying Squirrel, is a fictional character and one of the two male protagonists of the 1959–1964 animated series ''Rocky and His Friends'' and ''The Bullwinkle Show'' (both shows often referred to collectively as ''The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show''), produced by Jay Ward. Rocky is the best friend and ally of the western moose, Bullwinkle. Both Rocky and Bullwinkle were given the middle initial "J" as a reference to Ward. Creation Jay Ward and partner Alex Anderson originally created Rocky as part of ''The Frostbite Falls Review'', a proposed pilot that wasn't developed. The character was later used as the star of the series ''Rocky and His Friends''. However, when the show changed networks from ABC to NBC, its name was changed to ''The Bullwinkle Show'', with Bullwinkle replacing Rocky as the lead role due to the moose having larger popularity than Rocky. Biography Rocky shared a house with Bullwinkle, in the fictional sm ...

Fearless Leader
Fearless Leader is the main antagonist in the 1959–1964 animated television series ''Rocky and His Friends'' and '' The Bullwinkle Show'', both shows often collectively referred to as ''The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show''. He is the employer of fellow primary villains Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale, serving as an overarching antagonist in some episodes of the series. He was originally voiced by Bill Scott. Character overview Fearless Leader is a dictator from the fictional country Pottsylvania, and the employer of the inept mobsters Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale. Mr. Big appears in two storylines of the series, "Upsidaisium" and "Metal Munching Moon Mice." Fearless Leader has a notable face scar (possibly a dueling scar), much like the Nazi Otto Skorzeny, who may have been the inspiration for the character. As ...

Greenpernt Oogle
The following is a list of Rocky and Bullwinkle segments of the American animated television feature '' The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends'' (1959–1964). Jet Age
The Jet Age is a period in the history of aviation defined by the advent of aircraft powered by jet turbine engines, and by the social change this brought about. Jet airliners were able to fly much higher, faster, and farther than older pistonpowered propliners, making transcontinental and intercontinental travel considerably faster and easier: for example, aircraft leaving North America and crossing the Atlantic Ocean (and later, the Pacific Ocean) could now fly to their destinations non-stop, making much of the world accessible within a single day's travel for the first time. Since large jetliners could also carry more passengers than piston-powered airliners, air fares also declined (relative to inflation), so people from a greater range of socioeconomic classes could afford to travel outside their own countries. Besides the pure jet, the turbine-driven propeller engines offered improvements of the piston engine delivering a smoother ride and better fuel efficiency. One ex ...
