Rocky Dean
Rocky Dean (born 17 June 1978) is a British professional boxer from Thetford in Norfolk, England. He is a former Southern Area champion at Featherweight and has twice competed for the full British title at Super Bantamweight. Early Professional Career Dean made his professional debut on 14 October 1999 defeating Lenny Hodgkins at the Royal National Hotel in London. He won his next three contests before losing to journeyman Chris Jickells on 10 November 2000. Dean did not fight at all in 2001, making a return to the ring a year later and winning all three of his fights in 2002. In 2003 Dean failed to win any of his six contests, drawing twice and losing four times in that year. During the year Dean had boxed future Commonwealth champion Isaac Ward twice (one draw, 1 loss) and also met future British champions Michael Hunter and Martin Power in the ring, losing to them both. Super Bantamweight
Super bantamweight, also known as junior featherweight, is a weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . There were attempts by boxing promoters in the 1920s to establish this weight class, but few sanctioning organizations or state athletic commissions would recognize it. Jack Wolf won recognition as champion when he beat Joe Lynch at Madison Square Garden on September 21, 1922, but afterwards the weight division fell into disuse. The division was revived in the 1970s and the first title fight in 54 years in the division took place in 1976 when the World Boxing Council recognized Rigoberto Riasco as its champion when he defeated Waruinge Nakayama in eight rounds. Gary Davies (born Gary Harding, 17 October 1982) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2002 to 2012. He held the British bantamweight title in 2009. Boxing career Early professional career Davies boxing career began on 1 June 2002, at the M.E.N. Arena when he was defeated by journeyman Steve Gethin by technical knock-out in the second round. His second fight on 5 October 2002, against Jason Thomas resulted in a first win and the year was topped off with a victory against Simon Chambers at the Liverpool Olympia. Jason Booth (born 7 November 1977) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 1996 to 2016. He held the IBO super-flyweight title from 2003 to 2004, and challenged once for the IBF super bantamweight title in 2010. The York Hall, officially known as York Hall Leisure Centre, is a multi-purpose indoor arena and leisure complex in Bethnal Green, London, and is situated on Old Ford Road. The building opened in 1929 with a capacity of 1,200 and is now an international boxing venue. Thetford
Thetford is a market town and civil parish in the Breckland District of Norfolk, England. It is on the A11 road between Norwich and London, just east of Thetford Forest. Dagenham
Dagenham () is a town in East London, England, within the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Dagenham is centred east of Charing Cross. It was historically a rural parish in the Becontree Hundred of Essex, stretching from Hainault Forest in the north to the River Thames in the south.
