''The Rocket to the Moon'' is a 1928 science fiction novel by the German writer Thea von Harbou. Its German title is ''Die Frau im Mond'', which means "The Woman in the Moon". It is about a fictitious Moon mission. The book was translated into English by Baroness von Hutten and published in 1930 as ''The Girl in the Moon''. It was republished in 1977 as ''The Rocket to the Moon''. Adaptation The book was turned into a film by Fritz Lang, Harbou's husband. The film is titled ''Woman in the Moon'' and premiered in 1929. A Rocket to the Moon (commonly abbreviated as ARTTM) was an American rock band formed during 2006 in Braintree, Massachusetts, United States, by Nick Santino, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. Guitarist and backup vocalist Justin Richards (also of Brighten), bassist and backup vocalist Eric Halvorsen, and drummer Andrew Cook eventually joined the band, forming the final member lineup. The band has two albums through Fueled by Ramen. Their debut, '' On Your Side'', was released on October 13, 2009. '' Wild & Free'' was released on March 26, 2013. Christophe Kenner (December 25, 1929 – January 25, 1976) was an American, New Orleans-based Rhythm and blues, R&B singer and songwriter, best known for two hit singles in the early 1960s, "I Like It Like That (Chris Kenner song), I Like It Like That" and "Land of a Thousand Dances, Land of 1000 Dances", which became staples in the repertoires of many other musicians. Biography Born in the farming community of Kenner, Louisiana, upriver from New Orleans, Kenner sang gospel music with his church choir. He moved to New Orleans when he was in his teens, to work as a stevedore. In 1955 he made his first recordings, for a small label, Baton Records, without success. In 1957, he recorded his "Sick and Tired (Chris Kenner song), Sick and Tired" for Imperial Records.
