Rocket Ride (song)
"Rocket Ride" is a song by the American hard rock band Kiss. It was originally featured on their 1977 album ''Alive II''. Background "Rocket Ride" was written by Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley and Sean Delaney. Frehley sang lead vocals, and he noted in the booklet for the 2001 ''Kiss Box Set'' that this was his first vocal performance that he was satisfied with. It was the only studio track of the five recorded for ''Alive II'' that he performed on, as Bob Kulick was brought in to play guitar on some of the other tracks. Like many of Kiss's works, the song is a double entendre, using space travel (appropriate to Frehley's onstage "Spaceman" persona) as an innuendo for sexual intercourse. Hide recreated the intro of the song for his own 1998 single "Rocket Dive", the title also being an homage to the track. Frehley's 2008 tour, The Rocket Ride Tour (in support of his album '' Anomaly'') was named after this song. Personnel *Ace Frehley – lead & backing vocals, lead, rhythm & bas ...

Songs Written By Ace Frehley
A song is a musical composition intended to be performed by the human voice. This is often done at distinct and fixed pitches (melodies) using patterns of sound and silence. Songs contain various forms, such as those including the repetition and variation of sections. Written words created specifically for music, or for which music is specifically created, are called lyrics. If a pre-existing poem is set to composed music in classical music it is an art song. Songs that are sung on repeated pitches without distinct contours and patterns that rise and fall are called chants. Songs composed in a simple style that are learned informally "by ear" are often referred to as folk songs. Songs that are composed for professional singers who sell their recordings or live shows to the mass market are called popular songs. These songs, which have broad appeal, are often composed by professional songwriters, composers, and lyricists. Art songs are composed by trained classical composers fo ...

Kiss (band) Songs
A kiss is the touch or pressing of one's lips against another person or an object. Cultural connotations of kissing vary widely. Depending on the culture and context, a kiss can express sentiments of love, passion, romance, sexual attraction, sexual activity, sexual arousal, affection, respect, greeting, peace, and good luck, among many others. In some situations, a kiss is a ritual, formal or symbolic gesture indicating devotion, respect, or a sacramental. The word came from Old English ("to kiss"), in turn from ' ("a kiss"). History Anthropologists disagree on whether kissing is an instinctual or learned behaviour. Those that believe kissing to be an instinctual behaviour, cite similar behaviours in other animals such as bonobos, which are known to kiss after fighting - possibly to restore peace. Others believe that it is a learned behaviour, having evolved from activities such as suckling or premastication in early human cultures passed on to modern humans. Another th ...

Innuendo
An innuendo is a hint, insinuation or intimation about a person or thing, especially of a denigrating or derogatory nature. It can also be a remark or question, typically disparaging (also called insinuation), that works obliquely by allusion. In the latter sense, the intention is often to insult or accuse someone in such a way that one's words, taken literally, are innocent. According to the '' Advanced Oxford Learner's Dictionary'', an innuendo is "an indirect remark about somebody or something, usually suggesting something bad, mean or rude", such as:'' "innuendos about her private life" ''or'' "The song is full of sexual innuendo".'' Sexual innuendo The term sexual innuendo has acquired a specific meaning, namely that of a "risqué" double entendre by playing on a possibly sexual interpretation of an otherwise innocent uttering. For example: "We need to go deeper" can be seen as either a request for further inquiry or allude to sexual penetration. In the context of def ...
