Rock Steady Group
Rock Steady Group was a group of companies that was involved in stewarding and security at many major events in the United Kingdom. The three companies were Rock Steady Event Services, Rock Steady Sport Event Services and Rock Steady Security. The Group had a head office and operations office in Edinburgh with additional operations offices at Glasgow, Sheffield & Manchester. Rock Steady Events teams were used in stewarding capacity at major music events in Scotland, including T in the Park, the SECC and the Carling Academy Glasgow. In England they are responsible for Stewarding at the V Festival in Staffordshire, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Manchester and Don Valley Stadium and Sheffield Arena both in Sheffield. Rochdale Association Football Club is a professional football club based in the town of Rochdale, Lancashire, England. The team currently compete in League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system. Glasgow Marathon
The Great Scottish Run is a series of mass-participation road running events, held annually in the streets of Glasgow, Scotland in October. The event began as a full marathon in 1979, but later changed to a weekend of shorter events. The weekend now includes short events for children, a 10K roadrace, and a half marathon. The 2013 event, which was sponsored by the Bank of Scotland, featured over 30,000 competitors. It is the largest mass-participation sporting event in Scotland.
