Rock Island–Milan School District No. 41 is a unit school district in the Rock Island, Illinois, Rock Island and Milan, Illinois, Milan areas of the Quad Cities (Illinois). History The public schools in Rock Island existed prior to 1857, organized as five grade school districts, each with its own board and taxes, and each represented on a Union High School board. Alan Michael Garber (born 1955) is an American physician, health economist, and academic administrator. He is the Provost of Harvard University. Early life and education Garber was born in 1955. Connecticut Defenders
The Connecticut Defenders were a Minor League Baseball team based in Norwich, Connecticut. The team, which played in the Eastern League, was the Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants major-league club from 2003 until following the 2009 season, when the Defenders relocated to Richmond, Virginia and are now known as the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Stephen Michael Decker (born October 25, 1965) is an American former professional baseball catcher. He played for four Major League Baseball teams from –, –, and . Coaching career Decker began his coaching career as a hitting coach for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in 2001–02 and the Fresno Grizzlies in 2003–04.
