is a 2023 Japanese superhero film directed and written by Hideaki Anno. Produced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of '' Kamen Rider'', it is Anno's third reimagining of a ''tokusatsu'' series, following '' Shin Godzilla'' (2016) and '' Shin Ultraman'' (2022), and the first without his frequent collaborator Shinji Higuchi. Sonny Chiba
, known internationally as Sonny Chiba, was a Japanese actor and martial artist. Chiba was one of the first actors to achieve stardom through his skills in martial arts, initially in Japan and later to an international audience. Born in Fukuoka, Chiba played a variety of sports in high school, including baseball and volleyball. The is a metaseries of tokusatsu superhero TV series produced by Toei for Japanese television. The protagonists of the ''Metal Hero Series'' are mainly space, military and police-based characters who are typically either androids, cyborgs, or humans wearing metallic armored suits. is a ''tokusatsu'' television series based on the superhero manga '' Kikaider'' by Shotaro Ishinomori.
