Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. 2018–19 Bangladesh Cricket League
The 2018–19 Bangladesh Cricket League was the seventh edition of the Bangladesh Cricket League, a first-class cricket competition. It was held in Bangladesh, starting on 21 November 2018 and concluding on 27 December 2018. South Zone were the defending champions. South Zone retained their title, after they beat North Zone by nine wickets in their final match. Prior to the start of the tournament, a players' draft took place. The third round match between Central Zone and East Zone finished as a draw, under controversial circumstances. Prime Bank Cricket Club, owned by Prime Bank Limited, plays List A cricket in the Dhaka Premier Division in Bangladesh. It won the tournament in 2014–15. The 2021–22 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League was an edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, a List A cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. It was the eighth edition of the tournament with List A status, although almost 35 seasons have been played before achieving the status. The tournament took place from 15 March to 28 April 2022. The previous edition of the tournament, in March 2020, ended after just one round of matches, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament was abandoned and later replaced by the 2021 Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League.
