Robin Ramaekers
Robin Ramaekers (born 26 October 1994) is a Belgian competitive archer. He competed as a member of the Belgian archery squad in major international tournaments, spanning the World Championships, the 2015 European Games, and the 2016 Summer Olympics. Ramaekers currently trains at a local archery range in his native Tongeren ( nl, Schutters Handboog Tongeren, SHT), under the tutelage of his coach Francis Notenboom, a former Olympian from the 1988 edition. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Ramaekers became the first Belgian archer to compete in an Olympic tournament since 2000, shooting only in the men's individual recurve. First, he recorded a total score of 654 points, including 25 targets of a perfect ten, to seal the forty-second seed from a field of 64 archers in the classification round. Juan Ignacio Rodríguez Liebana (born June 19, 1992) is a Spanish competitive archer. He won a silver medal as a member of the nation's archery squad at the 2013 Mediterranean Games and at the 2015 European Games. Since his sporting debut as a 19-year-old, Fernandez currently trains under the tutelage of his Korean-born coach Cho Hyung-mok for the Spanish team, while shooting at a local archery range in his native Las Rozas de Madrid. Rodríguez rose to prominence in the international archery scene, when he and his compatriots Antonio Fernández and eventual individual champion Miguel Alvariño obtained a silver medal in the men's team recurve final against Ukraine at the 2015 European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan. Ryan Tyack
Ryan Tyack (born 2 June 1991) is an Australian archer competing in men's recurve events at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He earned a gold medal at the 2006 Junior World Outdoor Target Championships in the male recurve cadet event. He also won a gold at the 2008 World Youth Archery Championships in the men's under-18 event. He was named to the Australian archery shadow Olympic squad for the 2012 Summer Olympics, and won the individual competition at the 2014 World Indoor Archery Championships. Archery At The 2016 Summer Olympics – Men's Individual
The men's individual archery event was one of 4 archery events at the 2016 Summer Olympics. The medals were presented by Uğur Erdener, IOC member, Turkey and Tom Dielen, Secretary General of the World Archery Federation. Competition format As with the other archery events, the men's individual was a recurve archery event, held under the World Archery-approved 70-meter distance and rules. 64 archers participated. Competition began with a ranking round, in which each archer shot 72 arrows. The scores from the ranking round were used to seed the archers into a single-elimination bracket.
