Robin Mukherjee
Rabinranath "Robin" Mukherjee (12 November 1943 – 14 March 2009) was a cricketer who played first-class cricket for a number of teams in India from 1964 to 1980. An opening batsman, Mukherjee played his first first-class match in 1964-65 for Railways against Jammu and Kashmir, scoring 90 not out in the second innings before his captain declared. He moved to Bengal, and in 1966-67, on his first appearance for the team, he made 111 against Bihar. In 1967-68, on his first appearance for State Bank of India in the Moin-ud-Dowlah Gold Cup Tournament, he made 183 in 260 minutes, putting on 233 for the third wicket with Hanumant Singh. He moved to Bihar in 1969. In 1970-71 he made 288 runs at 48.00 in the Ranji Trophy as Bihar progressed to the semi-finals for only the third time. The Assam cricket team is a domestic cricket team represents the Indian state of Assam, run by the Assam Cricket Association. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). Punjab Cricket Team (India)
The Punjab cricket team is a first-class cricket team that represents the Indian state of Punjab. They have qualified for only one Ranji Trophy semi-final in the last five seasons and made it to the final in the 2004–05 tournament, where they lost to Railways in the first innings. They also play in other domestic cricket tournaments in India. They have only been winners of the Ranji Trophy once, in the 1992–93 season. Competition history In 1968-69, Punjab competed as a unified team for the first time. Before then, Southern Punjab, Eastern Punjab and Northern Punjab had competed at various times. Karnataka Cricket Team
Karnataka cricket team represents the Indian state of Karnataka in domestic cricket competitions. It has traditionally been one of the strongest teams in the domestic circuit and has produced many of Indian cricket team's iconic players. It was known as Mysore cricket team before the state of Mysore was officially renamed as Karnataka in 1973.
