Robin Morrissey
Robin Morrissey is a British screen and theatre actor. He is known for his roles in the films ''Cloud Atlas'' (2012), and Mindhorn (2016). As well as this, he portrayed Will Hurran in the BBC soap opera ''Doctors''. Early life and education Morrissey attended Merchant Taylors' Boys' School, Crosby. In 2011 Morrissey graduated with an acting BA degree from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. His uncle is David Morrissey, an English actor and filmmaker. Career In 2012, Morrissey made his professional debut playing Young Cavendish in the fantasy film ''Cloud Atlas'' directed by the Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer. RADA
The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA; ) is a drama school in London, England, that provides vocational conservatoire training for theatre, film, television, and radio. It is based in the Bloomsbury area of Central London, close to the Senate House complex of the University of London and is a founding member of the Federation of Drama Schools. It is one of the oldest drama schools in the United Kingdom, founded in 1904 by Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree. It moved to buildings on Gower Street in 1905. It was granted a Royal Charter in 1920 and a new theatre was built on Malet Street, behind the Gower Street buildings that was opened by Edward, Prince of Wales, in 1921. Twelfth Night
''Twelfth Night'', or ''What You Will'' is a romantic comedy by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written around 1601–1602 as a Twelfth Night's entertainment for the close of the Christmas season. The play centres on the twins Viola and Sebastian, who are separated in a shipwreck. Viola (who is disguised as Cesario) falls in love with the Duke Orsino, who in turn is in love with Countess Olivia. Upon meeting Viola, Countess Olivia falls in love with her thinking she is a man. The play expanded on the musical interludes and riotous disorder expected of the occasion, with plot elements drawn from the short story "Of Apollonius and Silla" by Barnabe Rich, based on a story by Matteo Bandello. The first recorded public performance was on 2 February 1602, at Candlemas, the formal end of Christmastide in the year's calendar. The Tower (2021 TV Series)
''The Tower'' is a British police procedural television series based on Kate London's ''Metropolitan'' trilogy book series. Set in London, it stars Gemma Whelan as police officer Sarah Collins, initially from the fictional DSI department. The first series follows the aftermath of the deaths of a veteran Metropolitan Police officer and a young Libyan girl who fell together from the roof of a London tower block. When Constable Lizzie Adama—one of the only witnesses—disappears soon after, Collins' investigation becomes two-pronged: what happened on the roof, and finding Adama. Although the series is set in southeast London, it was mostly filmed in the northwest of England, particularly Liverpool and Manchester. Adrian Lewis Morgan (born 15 February 1973) is a Welsh actor, known for portraying the role of Jimmi Clay in the BBC soap opera ''Doctors''. Dr. Jimmi Clay is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''Doctors'', portrayed by Adrian Lewis Morgan. The actor joined the cast shortly after his role in ''Holby City'' came to an end. Morgan was a fan of the soap and was pleased to audition for a regular part. He made his first appearance during the episode broadcast on 5 September 2005 and has gone on to become the programme's longest serving cast member. The Laurence Olivier Awards, or simply the Olivier Awards, are presented annually by the Society of London Theatre to recognise excellence in professional theatre in London at an annual ceremony in the capital.
