Robin McCallum
Robin McCallum (previously Robin Lermitte; 1961 – October 2022) was a British actor and weather presenter. Career Acting McCallum initially worked as an actor in minor roles – most memorably as Detective Chief Superintendent David Graves in the BBC drama '' Between The Lines'' and as D.I. Bob Ashley in ''EastEnders'' (1988–1989). He played Piers in the ''Tales of the Unexpected (TV series)'' episode (9/6) "Wink Three Times" (1988). ITV Weather McCallum entered a competition on ITV's '' This Morning'' in 2002 to become ITV's newest weather presenter, which he subsequently won. As a result, he became a national ITV Weather presenter, until he joined the ITV London regional weather team alongside fellow forecasters Manali Lukha and Chrissie Reidy in 2005. Between The Lines (TV Series)
''Between the Lines'' is a television police drama series created by J. C. Wilsher and produced by World Productions for the BBC. It was first shown on BBC1 between 1992 and 1994, running for three series. The show centred on the eventful life of Detective Superintendent Tony Clark, played by Neil Pearson. Clark was an ambitious member of the Complaints Investigation Bureau (CIB), an internal organisation of the Metropolitan Police that investigates complaints against officers as well as claims of corruption inside the police force. Along the way Clark had to overcome strong influence from his superiors and problems in his private life, most notably the break-up of his marriage following an affair with WPC Jenny Dean (Lesley Vickerage). Throughout the series Clark was assisted by colleagues Harry Naylor (Tom Georgeson) and Maureen 'Mo' Connell (Siobhan Redmond). Manali Lukha is a British weather forecaster for ITV plc. She is Head of ITV Weather. Manali Lukha has been working for the Met Office for 10 years and was recently promoted to manage the Met Office Media Team where she provides weather services to ITV and Channel 4. In this role, Manali manages the daily production of weather bulletins for ITN and she occasionally presents the ITV London Weekend Weather. ITV Weather is the national and regional forecast shown on UK terrestrial network ITV, and is provided by the Met Office (except the Channel Islands forecast, which is provided by the Jersey Meteorological Department).
