Robin Jones (basketball)
Robin Dale Jones (February 2, 1954 – July 16, 2018) was an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Saint Louis. Jones was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He spent two seasons in the NBA, signing as a free agent with the Portland Trail Blazers in 1976. There he came off the bench, playing in 63 games, to help the team to their first ever league title in 1977. The following season, he moved to the Houston Rockets where he played only 12 games. Jones then spent 5 years playing in Europe before returning to the United States where he worked in marketing for Anheuser-Busch. In 1995, he suffered a stroke and retired from Anheuser-Busch the next year as Illinois director of marketing. Robin Owen Jones (born 4 October 1973) is a former English cricketer. Jones was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off break. He was born at Crewe, Cheshire. Personal Jones attended Millfield School. He studied at Durham University before moving on to Cambridge. Career Jones made his first-class debut for Cambridge University against Glamorgan in 1996. From 1996 to 1997, he represented the University in 16 first-class matches, the last of which came against Oxford University. In his 16 first-class matches for the University, he scored 530 runs at a batting average of 25.23, with 4 half centuries and a high score of 61. In the field he took 8 catches. With the ball he took 18 wickets at an expensive bowling average of 68.88, with best figures of 3/116. In 1999, he made his List A debut for the Middlesex Cricket Board against Cumberland in the 1999 NatWest Trophy. Robin Griffith-Jones
Robin Griffith-Jones (born 1956) is a Church of England priest, Master of the Temple in London and a lecturer at King's College, London. Griffith-Jones was educated at Westminster School and New College, Oxford, before working at Christie's for some years. He is a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London. In 1999, Griffith-Jones was appointed Master of the Temple in London, the title given to the senior cleric of the Temple Church. His official style is currently "The Reverend and Valiant Master of the Temple"; this is not used on the official website but is confirmed by the Middle Temple website and has been used by him in interviews. Prior to this he was chaplain of Lincoln College, Oxford, from 1992 to 1999 and a curate in Liverpool from 1989 to 1992. Robin Lloyd-Jones (born 1934) is a writer of both fiction and non-fiction who grew up in India before being educated at Blundell's School in Devon and Cambridge University where he gained an MA in Social Anthropology. He then moved to Scotland to work as an Education Adviser for Strathclyde Region and soon became part of the vibrant Scottish writing scene, serving as President of the Scottish Association of Writers (1993–1996) and President of the Scottish Branch of PEN International (1997–2000), and chairing the Writers in Prison Committee which campaigns on behalf of persecuted writers.
