Roberto Vedovotto (businessman)
Roberto Vedovotto (born 30 September 1965) is an Italian businessman, twice CEO of the Italian eyewear manufacturer Safilo (2002–2006; 2009–2013), and the founder, president and CEO of Kering Eyewear since 2014. Biography Roberto Vedovotto was born and grew up in Bassano del Grappa, in Northern Italy. He holds a bachelor's degree in economy from the Bocconi University (1989) and a master's degree in finance from the London Business School (1994). Vedovotto worked for over ten years as a managing director at Morgan Stanley in London and Milan. In March 2002, he was appointed CEO of the eyewear manufacturing company Safilo to restructure the company. He left Safilo for the first time in November 2006 and to join Lehman Brothers' as chairman of retail and luxury and head of investment banking in Italy. Bassano Del Grappa
Bassano del Grappa ( vec, Basan or ''Bassan'', ) is a city and ''comune'', in the Vicenza province, in the region of Veneto, in northern Italy. It bounds the communes of Cassola, Marostica, Solagna, Pove del Grappa, Romano d'Ezzelino, Campolongo sul Brenta, Conco, Rosà, Cartigliano and Nove. Maui Jim is an American sunglasses manufacturer based in Peoria, Illinois. Founded in Lahaina, Hawaii, in 1980, the company designs, develops, and manufactures a wide variety of sunglasses marketed under the eponymous brand name.
