Roberto Sánchez Vilella (19 February 1913 – 24 March 1997) was the governor of Puerto Rico from 1965 to 1969. Sánchez Vilella successfully ran for governor in the 1964 elections for the ''Popular Democratic Party of Puerto Rico, Partido Popular Democrático''. He is also the founder of the People's Party (Puerto Rico), "Partido del Pueblo", also known as el Partido del Sol. Early years and education Sánchez Vilella was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, to Luis Sánchez Frasqueri and Angela Vilella Vélez and his family moved to Ponce, Puerto Rico when he was five years old. Roberto Sánchez Ramos (born 1960 in San Juan, Puerto Rico) is a Judge of the Court of Appeals of Puerto Rico and former Attorney General of Puerto Rico, appointed in 2005 by Governor Aníbal Acevedo Vilá. Before becoming Attorney General, Sanchez Ramos served as Solicitor General of Puerto Rico. He is the son of former Governor of Puerto Rico Roberto Sánchez Vilella. His mother, Jeannette Ramos Buonomo, is a retired judge of the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals, and his grandfather was Ernesto Ramos Antonini, who for many years was the Speaker (President) of Puerto Rico's House of Representatives. Roberto Sanchez (born May 5, 1986) is an American mixed martial artist (MMA) and he competes in the Flyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Background Sanchez was born in the city of Houston, Texas. His first combat sport experience started with BJJ at the age of eighteen, serving as a training partner for his brother to test out the new moves which his brother had learned, when he was eighteen years old. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science of Mathematics in 2012, Sanchez took up a job as a Mathematics teacher in high school. Roberto Helbert Sánchez Palomino ( Huaral, February 3, 1969) is a Peruvian psychologist and politician. He is a congressman of the Congress of the Republic of Peru for the period 2021-2026 and was Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism for Pedro Castillo from July 29, 2021 until his resignation on December 7, 2022. Biography Roberto was born in Huaral on February 3, 1969. He studied Psychology at the National University of San Marcos. In 2020, he was appointed manager of Social Development of the Provincial Municipality of Huaral. The Roberto Sánchez Vilella School of Public Administration is one of the professional graduate schools of the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus and the only public policy school in Puerto Rico, an unincorporated territory of the United States. In 1997, the university administration gave the school the name of the late Roberto Sanchez Vilella, a former Governor of Puerto Rico and one of the school's prominent lecturers. Roberto Sánchez-Ocampo (August 19, 1945 – January 4, 2010), better known by his stage names Sandro or Sandro de América, was an Argentine singer and actor. He is considered a pioneer of Argentine rock for being one of the first rock artists to sing in Spanish in Latin America.
