Bob Windsor
Robert Edward Windsor (born December 19, 1942 in Washington, D.C.) is a former tight end in the National Football League. Windsor played a total of nine seasons in the NFL, five with the San Francisco 49ers and four with the New England Patriots. He had two productive seasons as a starter with the 49ers in 1969 and 1970, starting all 14 games both seasons and recording 49 receptions (career high) and 597 yards in 1969 and 31 and 363 in 1970. With the Patriots, he became a starter in 1972, started all 14 games and had 33 receptions for 383 yards. Windsor is best known for a winning touchdown play while with the Patriots that he made in a regular season game in 1974 against the Minnesota Vikings. Both teams had 5-1 records going into the game. The Vikings had been to Super Bowl VIII the season before, while the upstart Patriots were coming off seven consecutive losing seasons and off to their best start since 1966. Bob Windsor (politician)
Robert Levi Windsor (28 November 1896 – 8 April 1988) was a businessman and member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Biography Windsor was born in the Central Queensland town of Mackay to parents Levi Windsor and his wife Mary (née Dunn). He went to school in Mackay and then the Brisbane Technical College where he learnt his trade as an engineer In World War I he was a stretcher bearer in the 15th Field Ambulance 5th Division from 1915 until 1919. He was gassed in 1917 and went AWOL in London in 1919. He joined the Volunteer Defence Corps in World War II for a year. In 1926 he established RL Windsor & Son Pty Ltd, an engineering company now known as Fibre King and was the chairman of Condamine Oil Ltd from 1955 until 1957. His interests included tennis, swimming and motoring. Windsor was a Sunday School supervisor for 30 years and a member of the City Congregationalist Church. Robert Browning Windsor (born January 15, 1997) is an American football defensive tackle who is a free agent. He played college football at Penn State and professionally for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). College career After playing at Fond du Lac High School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Windsor chose Penn State. He committed to Penn State on January 25, 2015, choosing Penn State over other Big Ten schools Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Maryland and Purdue, who all extended scholarship offers. During his junior season, Windsor recorded 7.5 sacks. He missed the 2020 Citrus Bowl due to an unspecified violation of team rules. Robert Windsor-Clive (MP)
Robert Windsor-Clive (24 May 1824 – 4 August 1859) was a British Conservative Party politician. Background Windsor-Clive was the eldest son of Robert Clive, grandson of Edward Clive, 1st Earl of Powis, and great-grandson of Robert Clive, 1st Baron Clive ("Clive of India"). His mother was Lady Harriett Windsor, daughter of Other Windsor, 5th Earl of Plymouth. He was educated at Eton and St John's College, Cambridge. In 1855 the barony of Windsor was called out of abeyance in favour of his mother, who became the thirteenth Baroness Windsor in her own right. His younger brother George Windsor-Clive was also a politician. Career Windsor-Clive entered Parliament for Ludlow at the 1852 general election, a seat he held until his resignation in January 1854 to contest a vacancy in Shropshire South.
