Robert Täht
Robert Täht (born 15 August 1993) is an Estonian volleyball player, member of the Estonian national team. At the professional club level, he plays for Berlin Recycling Volleys in Germany. Club career Robert Täht began his professional career in 2010 at the age of 17, when he signed a contract with his hometown club Valio Võru. In 2012 he moved to top Estonian team Bigbank Tartu. After three seasons in Tartu, Täht signed his first foreign contract and joined Polish PlusLiga team Cuprum Lubin. Täht played the 2018–19 season for Arkas İzmir of the Turkish Men's Volleyball League and the 2019–20 season for the Italian Volleyball League powerhouse Sir Safety Perugia. For the next two seasons he returned to Polish PlusLiga to play for Asseco Resovia and Skra Bełchatów. In June 2022 Täht signed with Vôlei São José dos Campos of the Brazilian Volleyball Super League becoming the first Estonian to play in the Brazilian league. Võru
Võru (; vro, Võro; german: Werro) is a town and a municipality in south-eastern Estonia. It is the capital of Võru County and the centre of Võru Parish. History Võru was founded on 21 August 1784, according to the wish of the Empress Catherine II of Russia, by the order of Riga Governor general count George Browne, on the site of the former Võru estate. Turkish Men's Volleyball League
The Turkish Men's Volleyball League, officially called the Efe League (Turkish: Efeler Ligi), is the highest professional men's volleyball league in Turkey. It is run by the Turkish Volleyball Federation. Men's European Volleyball Championship
The Men's European Volleyball Championship (''EuroVolley'') is the official competition for senior men's national volleyball teams of Europe, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation ( CEV). The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1975 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is Italy, which won its seventh title at the 2021 tournament. History The first tournament was held in 1948 with participation of six national teams. Being only participant from Eastern Europe, Czechoslovakia captured gold. The teams from Eastern Europe dominated at the tournament for next four decades. 2023 Men's European Volleyball Championship
The 2023 Men's European Volleyball Championship was the 33rd edition of the Men's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, CEV. For the third time, the championship was held in four countries: Italy, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Israel. The top three teams of the tournament qualified for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship as the CEV representatives, except Italy who had already qualified as the defending world champions. The 2021 Men's European Volleyball Championship was the 32nd edition of the Men's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, CEV. For the second time, the EuroVolley was held in four countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia and Finland. The number of national teams that participated in the event remained to 24. The 2019 Men's European Volleyball Championship was the 31st edition of the Men's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. The 2017 Men's European Volleyball Championship was the 30th edition of the Men's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV.
