Robert Henry Sharp (11 June 1893 – 15 March 1961) was an English cricketer. A right-arm fast-medium bowler and right-handed bat from Doncaster, Yorkshire, Sharp played first-class cricket for Essex, primarily during the 1925 County Championship The 1925 County Championship was the 32nd officially organised running of the County Championship. Robert Cameron Sharp (born 3 June 1958) is a Scottish former sprint (running), sprinter. In 1978 he won a gold medal at the 1978 Commonwealth Games, Commonwealth Games in Edmonton in the 4 × 100 m relay alongside David Jenkins (athlete), David Jenkins, Allan Wells, and Drew McMaster. He went on to compete in the Athletics at the 1982 Commonwealth Games, 1982 Brisbane Commonwealth Games picking up three bronze medals, in the 100 metres, 200 metres, and 4x100 metres relay. In 1975 he won the Scottish schoolboys 100 and 200 championships. He went on to compete at the 1980 Summer Olympic Games in Moscow in the 100m, 200m where he reached the semi finals of both sprints, and was a member of the 4 × 100 m relay where the U.K. finished 4th in the final in a new British record. Robert Sharp (born September 10, 1988) is an active Canadian professional wrestler, better known by his ring name "Lion Warrior" Bobby Sharp. He is currently working for numerous companies across Canada including Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling, High Impact Wrestling Canada, Monster Pro Wrestling, and Real Canadian Wrestling. Robert James Sharpe, OC, FRSC (born December 4, 1945) is a Canadian lawyer, author, academic, and judge. He was dean of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law from 1990 to 1995 and a judge of the Court of Appeal for Ontario from 1999 to 2020. Early life Robert James Sharpe was born on December 4, 1945, in Brantford, Ontario, to Eleanor Jane (Cooper) and Ira Sutherland Sharpe. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario in 1966, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto in 1970, and a DPhil from the University of Oxford in 1974. Legal career He was called to the bar of Ontario in 1974 and practised law with the firm of MacKinnon, McTaggart (later McTaggart, Potts, Stone & Herridge) in the area of civil litigation. Robert Sharp (born October 1894, date of death unknown) was a football manager of Bradford City who also served as Deputy Lord Mayor of Bradford. He was a football visionary who called for the introduction of Third and Fourth Divisions 12 years before they were formed. Biography Sharp was born in October 1894 in Bradford, England. He left school intent on making his way in business, and worked in his father's oil cloth shop. This was called Harry Sharp and Sons at this time but after Robert took control it was eventually renamed Sharps (Floor Furnishers) Ltd. It had been started as a market stall but expanded into multiple shops in several local towns before downsizing into the single one at Legrams Lane, Bradford. Later still it was handed over to his sons Peter and David. He was councillor for Bradford Moor from 1931 to 1934 and again from 1937 to 1945. He served as Deputy Lord Mayor in 1946.
