Robert Reilly (born c. 1939) is a former member of the New York State Assembly for the 109th district. Career A Democrat, Reilly was first elected to the New York State Assembly in 2004. Reilly has made three pledges: 1) to be a legislator loyal to his constituents, not a political party; 2) to visit each neighborhood in the district twice a year; and 3) to donate his entire Assembly salary to charity. (To date Reilly has donated nearly $145,000 to local charitable organizations.) During his first two terms in office, the Legislature passed the first two on-time budgets in 21 years, brought reform to the budget process, ethics and lobbying practices and public authorities, and enacted a new law that will provide greater public disclosure of state contracts. Reilly also is pushing for further reforms in areas like campaign finance. Robert Lee Rayford (February 3, 1953 – May 15 1969), sometimes identified as Robert R. due to his age, was an American teenager from Missouri who has been suggested to represent the earliest confirmed case of HIV/AIDS in North America based on evidence which was published in 1988 in which the authors claimed that medical evidence indicated that he was "infected with a virus closely related or identical to human immunodeficiency virus type 1." Rayford died of pneumonia, but his other symptoms baffled the doctors who treated him. A study published in 1988 reported the detection of antibodies against HIV. Results of testing for HIV genetic material were reported once at a scientific conference in Australia in 1999; however, the data has never been published in a peer-reviewed medical or scientific journal. Robert Reily (1820 – May 2, 1863) was a Colonel (United States), colonel of the 75th Ohio Infantry regiment in the Union Army during the American Civil War. He was killed in action at the Battle of Chancellorsville.
