Robert Pugh (MP)
Robert Pugh (born 11 October 1950) is a Welsh actor, known for his many television appearances, including the role of Craster in the HBO series ''Game of Thrones''. Life and career Pugh was born in the Tynte, Mountain Ash and grew up in Cilfynydd, near Pontypridd. He decided to become an actor after watching '' From Russia with Love'' at a cinema in Treforest with a cousin. A few years later he took night courses at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in North London, before being accepted at Rose Bruford College, where he graduated in 1976. He appeared as Harold Wilson in the 2005 Channel 4 drama ''Longford'' and as Hermann Göring in the 2006 BBC drama-documentary '' Nuremberg: Nazis on Trial''. In 2007, he co-starred alongside Genevieve O'Reilly and Geraldine James in the ITV1 drama ''The Time of Your Life'', in which he played a father whose 36-year-old daughter is recovering after an 18-year coma. Cilfynydd
Cilfynydd is a village in the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales, a mile from the South Wales Valleys town of Pontypridd, and 13 miles north of the capital city, Cardiff. Cilfynydd is also an electoral ward for the county council and Pontypridd Town Council. History Situated on the banks of the River Taff, the village was named after Cilfynydd farm, which was on the east side of the valley. Cilfynydd Farm was farmed by the Lloyd family, most recently Gwun and Lewis Lloyd, who are now both deceased. Cilfynydd was originally a farming hamlet, consisting of some cottages built along the Glamorganshire Canal and a few surrounding farms. ''Justice'' is a British legal drama, starring Robert Pugh and Gillian Kearney, that was broadcast from 4 to 8 April 2011, on BBC One. Pugh stars as Judge Patrick Coburn, the officiate of a community justice centre in his childhood home of Dovefield in Liverpool. Kearney stars as Louise Scanlon, a local investigative journalist who becomes caught up in Coburn's efforts to bring local tearaway Jake Little (Jake Abraham) to justice. As well as featuring individual stories, the series features an ongoing story arc throughout all five episodes. Owain ap Gruffydd (), commonly known as Owain Glyndŵr or Glyn Dŵr (, anglicised as Owen Glendower), was a Welsh leader, soldier and military commander who led a 15 year long Welsh War of Independence with the aim of ending English rule in Wales during the Late Middle Ages.
