Robert Phalen
Robert Anthony Phalen (May 10, 1937 – December 6, 1995) was an American actor who starred in films and on television. Life and career He was born on May 10, 1937 in San Francisco, California, where he attended George Washington High School, was active in the school's drama club, and served as student body president. Fowler, Keith, ''A History of the San Francisco Actor's Workshop''," 1969, Yale Drama Library. His early stage work includes his membership of San Francisco's Actor's Workshop, where he played a variety of roles in the early 1960s, including Mick in Harold Pinter's ''The Caretaker''. He was in the 1978 hit horror movie ''Halloween'' as Dr. Terence Wynn. He also appeared in two other John Carpenter movies, ''Someone's Watching Me!'' (1978) and ''Starman'' (1984). His other film credits include ''Three Days of the Condor'' (1975), ''Just You and Me, Kid'' (1979), '' Zoot Suit'' (1981), ''The Gladiator'' (1986) and ''Impulse'' (1990). ''Centennial'' is a 12-episode American television miniseries that aired on NBC from October 1978 to February 1979. The miniseries follows the history of Centennial, Colorado, from 1795 to the 1970s. It was based on the 1974 novel of the same name by James A. Michener, was produced by John Wilder. It was one of the longest and most ambitious television projects ever attempted at the time (c. 21 hours or 26 hours with commercials). It had a budget of US$25 million, employed four directors and five cinematographers, and featured over 100 speaking parts. ''Centennial'' was released on DVD on July 29, 2008. ''The Dukes of Hazzard'' is an American action comedy TV series that was aired on CBS from January 26, 1979 to February 8, 1985. The show aired for 147 episodes spanning seven seasons.
