Robert Jennings (cricketer)
Robert Alan Jennings (born 28 February 1977) is a former English cricketer. Jennings was a right-handed batsman who played primarily as a wicketkeeper. He was born in Bristol. Jennings represented the Gloucestershire Cricket Board in a single List A match against Huntingdonshire in the 1st round of the 2002 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy which was held in 2001. In his only List A match, he scored an unbeaten 12 runs and took a single catch behind the stumps. Robert Jennings (born 2 January 1996) is a Tongan international rugby league footballer who plays as a er and for the Dolphins in the NRL. He previously played for the Panthers, South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Wests Tigers in the National Rugby League. Background Jennings was born in Blacktown, New South Wales, Australia to Tongan-born parents. He is also of Fijian and English descent. Robert Lee Rayford (February 3, 1953 – May 15 1969), sometimes identified as Robert R. due to his age, was an American teenager from Missouri who has been suggested to represent the earliest confirmed case of HIV/AIDS in North America based on evidence which was published in 1988 in which the authors claimed that medical evidence indicated that he was "infected with a virus closely related or identical to human immunodeficiency virus type 1." Rayford died of pneumonia, but his other symptoms baffled the doctors who treated him. A study published in 1988 reported the detection of antibodies against HIV. Results of testing for HIV genetic material were reported once at a scientific conference in Australia in 1999; however, the data has never been published in a peer-reviewed medical or scientific journal. Sir Robert Yewdall Jennings (19 October 1913 – 4 August 2004) was Whewell Professor of International Law at Cambridge University from 1955 to 1982 and a Judge of the International Court of Justice from 1982. He also served as the President of the ICJ between 1991 and 1994 and resigned from the Court on 10 July 1995. Birth and education Jennings was born in Yorkshire, England where his father worked at a small manufacturing firm and his mother was a mill weaver. Educated at the local village school, and later at Belle Vue Grammar School in Bradford, he went on to study history at Downing College, Cambridge. After he gained an upper first class degree, the award of a Squire Law scholarship and some assistance from his local authority provided the financial support that enabled him to proceed to study Law.
