Robert Lee Griffin III (born February 12, 1990), nicknamed RG3 and RGIII, is an American football quarterback who is a free agent. He played college football at Baylor, where he won the Heisman Trophy as a senior, and was selected second overall by the Washington Redskins in the 2012 NFL Draft. Griffin set league records for the highest rookie passer rating and touchdown–interception ratio, while leading Washington to their first division title since 1999. Bob J. Griffin (; born June 24, 1950) is an American-Israeli former basketball player. He played the point guard and shooting guard positions. He played basketball in the Israeli Basketball Premier League from 1972 to 1979. He is now an Associate Professor of English Literature at Texas A&M University.
