Robert Darch
Robert Darch (born 1979) is a British artist-photographer. His first book, ''The Moor,'' was published in 2018. Life and work Darch was born in Birmingham and grew up in Droitwich Spa. He studied Documentary Photography at University of Wales, Newport, graduating in 2004. He returned to study photography at Plymouth University in 2013 after a long period of illness, gaining a Masters in Photography & The Book and an MFA in Photographic Arts. Darch's work was included in the book ''Another Country: British Documentary Photography Since 1945'', by Gerry Badger and published by Thames & Hudson. Darch resides in Devon, England, where he located the fictional town of Durlescombe, the setting for an on-going series exploring his familial attachment to this specific region of England. Tish Murtha
Patricia Anne "Tish" Murtha (14 March 1956 – 13 March 2013) was a British social documentary photographer best known for documenting marginalised communities, social realism and working class life in Newcastle upon Tyne and the North East of England. The posthumously published books of her work are ''Youth Unemployment'' (2017), ''Elswick Kids'' (2018) and ''Juvenile Jazz Bands'' (2020). David Hurn
David Hurn (born 21 July 1934) is a British documentary photographer and member of Magnum Photos. Life and work Hurn was born on 21 July 1934 in Redhill, Surrey, England. He was raised in Cardiff, Wales. Because of his dyslexia he joined the school camera club. After leaving school he headed for London, hoping to become a photographer. Hurn is a self-taught photographer. He began his career in 1955 when he worked for Reflex Agency. He gained his reputation as a photojournalist for his documentation of the Hungarian revolution of 1956, and is featured in two of Ken Russell's films for the ''Monitor'' television arts' series, ''A House in Bayswater'' (1960), and ''Watch the Birdie'' (1963). In 1965 he became associated with Magnum Photos and became a full member in 1967.
