Robert Chote
Sir Robert William Chote (born 24 January 1968) is a British economist and chair of the UK Statistics Authority. He was previously chairman of the Office of Budget Responsibility from 2010 to 2020. Education Chote completed his secondary education at St Mary's College in Bitterne Park, Southampton. In 1989 he graduated in economics from Queens' College, Cambridge (where he was president of Cambridge University Social Democrats, and, after the merger of the SDP with the Liberals, chair of Cambridge University Social and Liberal Democrats). He then studied journalism at City University, London, and international public policy at the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University in the United States. Cambridge University Liberal Association (CULA) is the student branch of the Liberal Democrats for students at Cambridge University. It is the successor to the Cambridge Student Liberal Democrats, which in turn was formed from the merger of Cambridge University Liberal Club (known as CULC, founded in 1886), and Cambridge University Social Democrats (founded in 1981) upon the creation of the Lib Dems in 1988. Sir Alan Budd
Sir Alan Peter Budd (born 16 November 1937) is a prominent British economist, who was a founding member of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) in 1997. He left the MPC in May 1999, and between August 1999 and 2008 was Provost of The Queen's College, Oxford. He was temporarily head of Her Majesty's Government's Office for Budget Responsibility during 2010. Education Budd went to Oundle School, a public school in Northamptonshire, and then studied at the London School of Economics where he received a B.Sc. degree in economics. Anne Osborn Krueger (; born February 12, 1934) is an American economist. She was the World Bank Chief Economist from 1982 to 1986, and the first deputy managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) from 2001 to 2006. She is currently the senior research professor of international economics at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C. Harold Edward Wincott CBE (13 September 1906 – 5 March 1969) was a British economist and journalist. Early life Harold Wincott was born in north London, where his father ran a small family business of heraldic engravers. He went to Hornsey County School, leaving at 16. Career Wincott edited the '' Investors Chronicle'' for twenty-one years and was a columnist for the ''Financial Times''.
