Robert Arcq (1925–1994) was a Belgian writer, working mainly in the Walloon language. A native of the area around Jumet, he was active in the vicinity of Charleroi. Jumet ( wa, Djumet) is a town of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Charleroi, located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. It was a municipality of its own before the merger of the municipalities in 1977. Church of Saint-Sulpice, Jumet is a Roman Catholic church in Jumet.
