Robert Addo Sowah (born 5 December 1993) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Ghanaian Premier league side Accra Hearts of Oak. Career Uncle T Born in Dodowa, a suburb of Accra, Sowah played for Ghana Division One League side Uncle 'T' United, a club based in Prampram for three seasons. His potential and leadership qualities led to him being appointed and serving as the captain for the side before he secured a move to Hearts of Oak. Whilst at Uncle T, he was scouted and approached by four Premier League clubs Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Accra Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics and Elmina Sharks who revealed their intentions of signing him. Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, commonly referred to as Hearts of Oak or just Hearts, is a professional sports club based in Accra (Greater Accra), Ghana. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is a governing body of association football, based in Accra. Founded in 1957, it was dissolved with "immediate effect", according to Minister of Sport, Isaac Kwame Asiamah, on 7 June 2018, after the uncovering of a corruption scandal. Accra Sports Stadium
The Accra Sports Stadium, formerly named the Ohene Djan Stadium, is a multi-use stadium (40,000-capacity, all-seater) located in Accra. Ghana, mostly used for association football matches. It is also used for rugby union. Overview The stadium was inaugurated in 1962 by a football match played between Accra XI and Kumasi XI. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Mohammed Alhassan (born 5 June 1992) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as a defender for Hearts of Oak and Ghana. Club career Alhassan began his career at West African Football Academy. In 2015, he was promoted to the senior side, where he immediately became one of the reliable centre-backs. He made his senior debut on 20 February 2016, starting a league match against Kumasi Asante Kotoko. He played the full match as WAFA won by 2–0. He went on to play 26 league matches that season, with WAFA placing ending the season in second place, their highest ever rank. The following season, 2017 season, he played 10 league matches. Samuel Boadu (born 24 February 1986) is a Ghanaian professional football manager and former player who last served as the head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak S.C. in the Ghana Premier League and serves as the assistant coach of the Ghana national U-20 team.
