Bert Roberge
Bertrand Roland Roberge (born October 3, 1954) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball for the Houston Astros, Chicago White Sox, and Montreal Expos from 1979 through 1986. Amateur career A native of Lewiston, Maine, Roberge attended the University of Maine, where he played college baseball for the Maine Black Bears baseball team from 1974 to 1977. He set the school career ERA record at Maine, at 1.82. In 1975, he played collegiate summer baseball in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He was selected by the Astros in the 17th round of the 1976 MLB Draft. Professional career In his 1979 rookie season with the Houston Astros, he appeared in 26 games, posting a 3-0 record with a 1.69 ERA. Kalyna Roberge
Kalyna Roberge (born October 1, 1986) is a Canadian short track speed skater. Born in Saint-Étienne-de-Lauzon, Quebec, Roberge has won a gold medal in the 3000m relay at the 2005 World Championships. She also placed third overall at the 2005 World Junior Championships including a gold medal in the 500m. She also won a gold medal at a World Cup event in the Netherlands in the 3000m relay. At the 2006 Winter Olympics, Roberge placed fourth in the 500m. Along with Alanna Kraus, Tania Vicent and Anouk Leblanc-Boucher, Roberge won a silver medal in the 3000m relay. She skated for Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics. On February 24, she won a silver medal in the 3000 metre relay, along with Jessica Gregg, Tania Vicent and Marianne St-Gelais. Joseph Albert Armand "Skippy" Roberge (May 19, 1917 – June 7, 1993) was an American professional baseball baseball player, player, an infielder whose professional career lasted for ten seasons between 1939 and 1952 (with 1943–1945 missed due to military service during World War II) and included 177 games played in Major League Baseball for the Boston Braves (baseball), Boston Braves (1941–1942; 1946). Rob Roberge (born 22 June 1966) is an American writer, guitarist, singer, and writing and narrative theory professor researcher and developer. Life Rob Roberge was born in Bridgeport Connecticut. He studied writing at Emerson College and Vermont College where he received an MFA in the early 1990s. Since 1995, he has lived in Southern California. In 2013, Roberge released his fourth book of fiction, the novel The Cost of Living (Other Voices Books). Joseph Mario Roberge (born January 23, 1964) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward who played 112 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Montreal Canadiens between 1990 and 1995. Playing career Roberge was born in Quebec City, Quebec. As a youth, he played in the 1977 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Quebec City. Roberge started his NHL career with the Montreal Canadiens, in 1991. He played his entire career with Montreal and left after the 1995 season. He won one Stanley Cup, with Montreal, in 1993, his most successful season; when he played a career-high 50 games, scored four goals and added four assists. Three of his goals were game winners.
