Robbah District
Robbah is a district in El Oued Province, Algeria. As of the 2008 census, it has a population of 40,719. Robbah District is situated south of the capital of the wilaya, El Oued. Robbah is a major town in the district. It is surrounded by some small villages such as El Khobna, Nakhla, El Aquila and El Ogla. These villages are widely known for agriculture and animal breeding. Most people in this district are Arabs, coming from the Arab peninsula. El Oued Province
El Oued ( ar, ولاية الوادي, ber, ⴻⵍ oⵓⴻⴷ) is a Saharan province of Algeria (n° 39) dominated by '' Oued Souf''. It was named after its eponymous capital. Notable towns include El Oued itself and El M'Ghair, Djamaa and Guemar. Geography Physical geography El Oued Province lies in the Sahara desert in northeast Algeria. The mostly uninhabited southern half of the province is covered by the Grand Erg Oriental, a vast region of uninterrupted sand dunes. Wilaya
A wilayah ( ar, وَلاية, wālāya or ''wilāya'', plural ; Urdu and fa, ولایت, ''velâyat''; tr, vilayet) is an administrative division, usually translated as "state", "province" or occasionally as "governorate". El Oued
El Oued ( ar, اﻟﻮادي, ber, Suf meaning ''the River''), Souf or Oued Souf is a city, and the capital of El Oued Province, in Algeria. The oasis town is watered by an underground river, hence its name is El Oued which enables date palm cultivation and the rare use (for the desert) of brick construction for housing. As most roofs are domed, it is known as the "City of a Thousand Domes". El Oued is located south east of Algiers (the capital city of Algeria), near the Tunisian border.
