Robb Weller
Robb Weller (born September 27, 1949) is an American game show host and television personality and producer (Weller/Grossman Productions). He hosted ''Entertainment Tonight'' from 1984 to 1986, and ''Entertainment This Week'' from 1984 to 1989, and was known as the national host of advertorial segments mainly featuring films from Disney's Buena Vista film labels such as Hollywood Pictures and Touchstone Pictures throughout the 1990s. He served as anchor of ''FOX 11 Sunday Morning News'' with Gina Silva at KTTV in Los Angeles. He previously co-hosted the former Sunday edition of ''Good Day L.A.'' with Nischelle Turner and Elizabeth Espinosa, and hosted the first two seasons of '' The Home Show'' on ABC and the syndicated version of ''Win, Lose or Draw'' from 1989 to 1990. ''Split Second'' is an American game show that aired from 1975 to 1987. It was created by Monty Hall and Stefan Hatos and produced by their production company, Stefan Hatos-Monty Hall Productions. There were two editions of ''Split Second'' produced by Hatos and Hall. The first was a daytime series produced for ABC that premiered on March 20, 1972, and ran until June 27, 1975, and was recorded at ABC Television Center in Hollywood. Tom Kennedy was the host for the original ABC version, with Jack Clark serving as announcer. The second version was produced for syndication in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, at CHCH-TV's studios; this series premiered December 15, 1986, and was a co-production of Hatos-Hall and distributors Concept Equity Funding Limited and Viacom Enterprises. The Rose Parade, also known as the Tournament of Roses Parade (or simply the Tournament of Roses), is an annual parade held mostly along Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, California, United States, on New Year's Day (or on Monday, January 2 if New Year's Day falls on a Sunday). Produced by the non-profit Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, the parade usually starts at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time ( UTC–8), and includes flower-covered floats, marching bands, and equestrian units.
